LARP is a hobby with a variety of locations, settings, and people. It can be really confusing to start on your costuming journey, so I decided to make a collection of links to make it a little easier for everyone. This website can be easily used by new-fish and old-hat larpers to find what they need for their first, or next, character!

Shoes
Shoes are arguable the most important and most difficult part of any kit. They need to be fashionable and look good, while still supporting your feet and ankles.
If you cannot afford fancy larp shoes, I've also included resources for covers or spats that are easy to make. SAFETY OVER LOOKS- do not hurt yourself wearing shoes that are innappropriate!
I promise no one is at LARP to inspect your footwear.

FAQ
Why isn't "X" website listed?
Unless it is one I just don't know about or have yet to be made aware of:There's some good reasons for this. It may be that the website is unreliable, or too new to be trusted. It could be they have stolen art or designs from other websites, or use AI in their work. It could be they are run by unsavory folks. Whatever the reason, we don't want to promote or support them at this time.
This is subject to change; but for the moment this is how we choose to operate the site. In the interest of transparency, I have made a page to list common sites and why I will not recommend them.
Why use carrd?
It's cheap, and relatively easy to work with. I didn't want to make an entire website or domain where I would have to pay money to basically host what is my bookmarks toolbar for people to look at.
Who is this for?
This is a site for everyone!
I've been LARPing for over a decade, and I wanted to give people an easy way to access links and resources used by other members of their community. This website is a labor of love, based on my own desire to help as many people LARP as possible.
Unlisted Sites
These are sites you might see recommended, or be curious about, but for one reason or another I will not recommend them. In the interest of Transparency I have included them here along with Why I do not recommend them.

---|---|---|
Corset Story | Corsets in a variety of fantasy and modern styles for faires, burlesque, LARP and fashion. | Jacks up their retail prices so that their sales look like a good deal, but they seem to mostly carry low to mid quality corsets from (implied) dropshippers. Supposedly they also use sweatshops, and other pretty bad business practices. |
Holy Clothing | Affordable basics in a variety of historically inspired and fantasy styles. | Has historically stolen/borrowed heavily from other small manufacturers. (Also takes MONTHS to produce and ship orders but that's not the reason I wont recommend them.) |
